U.S.-based producer Fells and singer Kimmie Devereux have teamed up for their uplifting new dance pop single "Higher Place". Fells wrote: "This song has been a long time coming... I struggled to find confidence in myself to write original lyrics / music. But recently after seeing through several personal relationships, I tried to commit myself to writing something genuine and meaningful.
The idea behind this track revolves around dealing with ended relationships. Whether it be a break up with an ex, a close friend moving away, or a family member passing away, it's all about understanding that the experiences you shared with that person has made you who you are. I'm so proud of the songwriting and production that went into this track and I hope you guys can follow me along the way.
Please please go and support Kimmie Devereux! She is a truly insanely talented vocalist and a genuine, kind human being."
