Fox Stevenson - Bruises
UK-based drum and bass producer Fox Stevenson has released punchy new track called "Bruises". The track keeps the energy moving the whole way through, opening with guitars and fast-strumming in the verse, stabs in the bridge, a catchy high-energy DnB chorus, and switching it up to a slower, swung rhythm section before the second chorus. The track features on Pilot Records' new "Destinations" EP alongside fellow DnB artists Feint, Ownglow, Vorso and T & Sugah & Bensley.
Sub.Sound - Bring It Back
UK producer Sub.Sound has poured a ton of creativity and energy into his latest track "Bring It Back". The track starts off with an upbeat electro-swing style led by trumpets over a strong beat, then brings out complextro sound design. The track has a great dynamic alternating between high energy sections and beautiful breakdowns that add depth to the track. A couple of months ago Sub.Sound put out a great remix of Fox Stevenson's song "Out On My Own" too, check it out here.
QUIX - Giving Up (feat. Jaden Michaels)
Kiwi producer QUIX has released the first single from his upcoming EP "Illusions" with vocals from Jaden Michaels. QUIX's production starts out sparse giving Michaels' stunning vocals the spotlight, and her vocals really shine as she introduces a vocal harmony in the bridge. The track adds arpeggiated melodies and builds to a dazzling chorus. Great percussion in the second verse takes the track into an unexpected, banging second drop. QUIX wrote on SoundCloud: "i believe i wrote about 5 different drops for this track, some of them were cool but not fitting for this vocal and overall feel of the song... i especially wanted this track to be remembered with for having a powerful first drop and a hard second drop. in the end, im very happy with how this came out and cant wait for you to hear the rest of the 'illusions EP'". QUIX is currently touring Australia, Canada and the U.S. in support of his upcoming EP.
