Raja Kumari - Karma
LA-based artist Raja Kumari embraces her Indian culture deeply and portrays a strong female character with her look and hip hop-infused musical style. Her vocals on "Karma" are particularly strong, rapped and sung like a boss over a booming rap beat. As the lyrics say, "Make room for the Queen of Hindustan, stand up for the daughter of the King!"
The song features on her new album "Bloodline" which is out this Friday. Raja Kumari wrote: "BLOODLINE asks the question, 'Who are you?' It's not just about your family line or your heritage. WHO ARE YOU? What runs through your veins and what are you willing to fight for? This collection of songs was inspired by my time in India. I found strength in the Motherland, and these battle anthems are my story, my bloodline."
