It's finally Friday, woo hoo! We're feeling good and hope you are too. Here's some good vibes country-pop from Norwegian artist Grand Alpaca (I love this name!) to kick-start your weekend.
With sun-soaked guitars and uplifting, singalong vocals it could easily make even the dreariest day better. This is Grand Alpaca's second single since his debut in May. Last month he released his first video clip too which you can check out here.
Naah and C. Gold have teamed up for their gorgeous new electronic pop single "Electric Life" about how: "in this new era of infinite scrolling through social media it can sometimes feel like your friends would rather spend time in front of the screen than with you." Naah's vocals take the spotlight in the verses with driving synth pads introduced in the bridge giving way to a delightful melodic vocal-chopped chorus.
New York-born, Sydney-bred artist Valencia James brings us an uplifting anthem called "Dreamers". The track makes good use of reverb giving it a hopeful, anything-is-possible feel, then builds to a shining, confident chorus.
"I wrote Dreamers at a time in my life when I was learning how to dream again and believe for dreams that I had forgotten about. It's kind of that song where I was just like, 'Why can't I do all the things that I want to?' I had just come out of a period of depression about my future and this was my song ... I hope people listen to the song and remember to dream again, to hope again, and to believe in themselves again."
"Wild Night" is the new feel-good bop from Swedish twins Bahoz & Baran and it's sure to put you into motion! Their brilliant duet vocals lead the track over its groovin' dancehall beat that combines offbeat guitar strokes with electronic production. They wrote and produced the track in Africa where they were inspired by the happy African environment.
J.B. Boone brings us a wonderful upbeat folk pop tune to shrug off those who want to bring you down. "We all know a World Shrinker in this life; we can't control that. What we can do is show them that they have no power over us, one song at a time."
Producers 3LAU and DNMO have teamed up for their powerful and trancey new bass single "Falling". Announcing the release on Twitter, 3LAU wrote: "we hope this new [single] makes you feel invincible..."
Multi-talented dance pop artist Grant Knoche brings us some seriously crunchy wobble synths on his new pop single "Dial Tone". His fantastic vocals lead the well spaced, self-produced track and there's a wicked guitar solo too! He explains the track is about: "being in a relationship with somebody but in hindsight, you realize that you should've ended it before it even started."
From it's opening whistle to the brilliant horns, "Hell N Back" features a groovy beat led by Bakar's laidback vocals reflecting on a first love. Despite its intense title, the track is a wavy feel-good bop.
